Zeta Beta Tau Honors Arizona Chapter With Award
MIAMI, August 17, 2021 — We are pleased to announce the Alpha Omicron Chapter at University of Arizona completed one of the top recruitment performances in ZBT this year, earning the Barry D. Siegel Award for outstanding recruitment among campuses with more than 20,000 undergraduates.
The group reworked their process to great success. They started recruiting over the summer, before the start of the fall term, and continued to prioritize recruitment all year. They also focused on creating personal connections to out of state students and give them a new home away from home in ZBT. Alpha Omicron initiated 58 new brothers in the 2020-2021 academic year.
“ZBT is proud of Alpha Omicron Chapter’s passion for the brotherhood. This group is a role model to others in the way they recruit,” ZBT Chief Executive Officer Libby Anderson said.
The 2021 International Awards celebrate the best of the fraternity, honoring chapters and prospective chapters as a unit for their commitment to brotherhood and fraternal success.
Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity was founded in 1898 in New York City as the world's first Jewish Fraternity. ZBT is a Brotherhood of Kappa Nu, Phi Alpha, Phi Epsilon Pi, Phi Sigma Delta and Zeta Beta Tau. ZBT is represented on more than 70 campuses in the United States and Canada and has more than 140,000 undergraduate and alumni brothers throughout the world.
